The organizers of Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week have added Heavy Duty Aftermarket Canada to the HDAW Joint Operating Committee.

HDAC is a non-profit organization that advocates for the heavy-duty aftermarket industry in Canada. It was formerly known as the Heavy Duty Distributor Council that represented the interests of Canadian independent, heavy-duty distributors.

The organization has expanded its focus, and the HDAC now represents both distributor and associate members of the industry.

Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week is an executive conference for the independent heavy-duty aftermarket industry and features executives and managers including distributors, suppliers, service providers, educators and industry media. It is scheduled for Jan. 25-28, 2016 at The Mirage in Las Vegas.

“Not only will this provide us with a great marketing platform, we will be able to participate in the Joint Operating Committee and work with all the great associations and groups that make up Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week," said Ian Johnston, president of HDAC.
