Heavy Duty Trucking is accepting nominations for its Truck Fleet Innovators program, which recognizes four to six innovative fleet executives who will be featured in the March issue of the magazine.
The deadline for submissions is Nov. 30.
Launched in 2006, the Truck Fleet Innovators program honors men and women in the trucking industry who demonstrate innovation in areas including leadership, productivity, business practices, safety, maintenance, spec'ing, technology, human resources, fuel efficiency, the environment, and more. The awards are not limited to top executives, as the publication will also consider leaders in various areas of the trucking company.
The winners will be invited to participate on a panel as part of a fleet summit in the fall of 2010.
Representatives from fleets, suppliers, dealers or associations are welcome to submit nominations. The editors of HDT will also nominate executives based on their own experience. The decisions rest with the editors of HDT and are final.
For more information about submitting nominations, visit www.truckinginfo.com/innovators.
Note: This story has been changed (11/3/09) to correct the date of the event to which the Truck Fleet Innovators will be invited.
