Suppliers and distributors have been showing their support for the upcoming Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week conference in January, with more than 350 booths reserved, up 7 percent from the 2009 event, and 256 distributors registered, up 25 percent from 2009.
The conference has 30 new exhibitors for the 2010 event.

HDAW '10 will be held Jan. 18-21 at The Mirage in Las Vegas.

According to a survey conducted by conference organizers, suppliers plan to use the event to launch new products and promote their technology to the heavy-duty aftermarket.

"The number of both distributors and suppliers currently registered far exceeds our numbers from the same time last year and is very encouraging for the entire business year," said Gary Smalley, HDAW '10 co-chairman. "The number of supplier space commitments for HDAW '10 reflects its value to the supplier, even in light of the current economic situation and it speaks well for the venue's true value."

Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week is the largest North American gathering of the independent heavy-duty industry. More than 1,400 managers and executives from 17 countries - including distributors, manufacturers, service providers, educators and media - attended the 2009 conference in Orlando. An even larger group is expected for the 2010 event.

HDAW is presented by a joint operating committee composed of industry leaders from American Council of Frame and Alignment Specialists (ACOFAS), Commercial Vehicle Solutions Network (CVSN), Heavy Duty America (HDA), Heavy Duty Distribution Association (HDDA), Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association (HDMA), APRA's Heavy Duty Remanufacturing Group (HDRG), International Truck Parts Association (ITPA), Overseas Automotive Council (OAC), Power Heavy Duty, Service Specialists Association (SSA), Truck Pride, Truck Frame and Axle Repair Association (TARA) and Vipar Heavy Duty.
