The deadline for distributors to register for the One-on-One Business Meetings program at the Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week (HDAW) Conference is fast approaching. HDAW 2007 will be held Jan. 22-25 at the Mirage in Las Vegas, Nev.
All distributor members of HDAW-affiliated organizations who have registered for HDAW 2007 are entitled to participate in the one-on-one meetings, to be held on Wednesday and Thursday, Jan. 24-25. Participation is included in the $300 member conference registration fee.
Industry members are urged to register early, because the deadline is Nov. 17. More than 1,200 distributor-supplier meetings were arranged for HDAW 2006, and 77 exhibitors have already registered for the 2007 meetings.
Co-organizers of HDAW 2007 are the Heavy Duty Distribution Association and the Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association. Sponsors include Heavy Duty America, Heavy Duty Remanufacturing Group, Heavy Duty Representatives Association, International Truck Parts Association, Overseas Automotive Council, Power Heavy Duty, Service Specialists Association and TruckPride.
Online registration and housing arrangements are available at www.hdaw.org. Registration materials for the One-on-One Business Meetings may be obtained by contacting Rosemary Hall at (816) 361-6588 or by e-mailing rhall@mema.org.
Distributors registering for the conference will be able to delay payment for the HDAW Conference, with billing on credit card registrations deferred until Jan. 2, 2007. Early member registration discounts are in effect before Jan. 8, 2007.
HD manufacturers who have not yet registered for exhibit space at HDAW 2007 and missed the deadline for inclusion in the one-on-one business meetings selection forms, may still be included on an addendum, if registered by Nov. 17. The addendum will alert participating distributors of additional manufacturers wishing to meet with distributors, but not included on the meeting selection form.
For more information on HDAW 2007, contact Bill Glasgow Sr., conference manager, at (708) 226-1300 or e-mail info@hdaw.org.
