Organizers of the eighth annual Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week announced its new leadership team for the conference, to be held January 21-24, 2013, at The Mirage in Las Vegas.
Tom Stewart, president of Carolina Rim and Wheel, and Walt Sherbourne, director, North American field sales-aftermarket for Meritor, have been named the HDAW '13 co-chairs. Edward Neeley of Truck Supply of South Carolina was selected as vice chair. The three HDAW chairs are responsible for the strategic leadership of the event and management of the volunteer/staff program planning teams consisting of more than 30 individuals from aftermarket supplier and distributor companies.
The HDAW leadership team focuses on delivering excellence for the annual conference's key elements including the distributor education program, pre-scheduled supplier/distributor one-on-one meetings, the HDAW product expo and the numerous networking opportunities that are part of the conference..
Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week is the largest North American gathering of the independent heavy-duty aftermarket industry. More than 1,900 executives and managers from the U.S., Canada and six other countries - including distributors, suppliers, service providers, educators and industry media - attended the 2012 conference in Las Vegas.
