HDA Truck Pride's first membership meeting hosted more than 600 attendees representing 123 members and 142 vendors.
The company was created last September from the merger between Heavy Duty America and Truck Pride Partners.

At the meeting, HDA Truck Pride CEO Don Reimondo presented the Vision Statement and Strategic Objectives to the membership. The organization aims to be the most cohesive supply chain in the commercial vehicle industry.

To support the plan, Tina Alread, director of sales and marketing, presented a session on Fleet Programs and hosted a National Fleet Panel. Panelists included Bill Bliem, vice president of maintenance at NFI Industries; Lloyd Hair, director of maintenance at Keen Transport; Gary Gid, director of maintenance at Logistic Leasing; and Terry Taylor, senior director of national purchasing at Sysco. The session highlighted key issues of concern for these fleets and ways in which HDA Truck Pride can bring value to them. Key topics focused on the federal government's new CSA enforcement program and its impact on the fleets, training, technology and service.

Mark Willis, business development manager, discussed the Truck Service Experts Program, which was followed by a TSE panel. Panelists included Jim Farr of Iowa City Brake, John Wensel of Wensel's Truck and Trailer Repair, Jeff Wilson of Brahler's Truckers Supply and Wayne Marshall of Marshall Truck and Trailer Repair. The panelists shared their viewpoint of the value that HDA Truck Pride and the Truck Service Experts Program brings to their businesses. The program has been a focal point for more than seven years, and has now gained major support and momentum from the National Fleet Council and the TSE testimonials. HDA Truck Pride looks to double the participation in their TSE program during 2011.

HDA Truck Pride operates over 700 distribution locations and over 400 service facilities in North America.
