HD America and Karmak have reached an agreement that will offer HDA member companies the opportunity to select Karmak's Legend business system to manage their parts and service businesses.

"Karmak has a proven track record of delivering high quality products that meet the specific needs of heavy-duty aftermarket businesses, while providing excellent customer service and support," said Pat Biermann, HDA president. "Adding Karmak to our network of providers will be a benefit to our members, who are among the best distributors in North America, and advance our goal of helping them remain competitive."

"We're excited to work with HDA to provide state-of-the-art management systems to their members," said Bill Healy, Karmak president and CEO. "With decades of experience supporting independent warehouse distributors, we are confident that Karmak's expertly engineered technology, in-depth understanding of the industry, and dedicated customer focus offer powerful solutions for HDA member companies."

Combining HDA's best industry practices with technology such as bar coding, mobile capabilities, e-commerce, core tracking and accounting, internet parts sales, and real-time dashboards, Karmak business systems help distributors and service shops control costs and improve productivity.

HDA (HD America, HDA Parts Network) is a heavy-duty truck parts marketing group with headquarters in the St. Louis, Mo., area. Its members are heavy-duty aftermarket distributors with over 500 warehouses throughout the United States and Canada.

Karmak Inc., Carlinville, Ill., supplies software applications to retailers that sell and service trucks, tractors, and trailers, as well as retail and wholesale businesses that distribute parts.
