The Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association will feature a Heavy Duty Electrical Clinic during the upcoming 2012 International Big R Show at Bally's Hotel in Las Vegas.
On the agenda will be Steve Venne and Bob Hopko who will discuss opportunities in the heavy duty electrical market and how new challenges will impact HD electrical rebuilder/remanufacturers and their customer relationships.
Steve Venne with Atelier Dynamo of Quebec, Canada, will discuss many of the newest HD alternators and starters and the impact that heat from the engine has on these newer units. His presentation entitled, "What You Need to Know about the Latest Technology for HD Starters and Alternators," will highlight how to achieve customer satisfaction, improve your relationships and increase your profits.
Bob Hopko of Letrika (formerly ISKRA) in Rockford, Ill., will be assisted by Ervin Stanic and Jordan Drekonja, and will talk about "Failures and Troubleshooting, New Applications and Future Projects at Letrika." They will talk about Letrika starters, alternators, and DC motors and present an in-depth look at both older and current units on the market and give attendees a preview of what's coming in the next few years.
