The 16th Annual Great Salt Lake Kidney Kamp Truck Show will be held on August 26-27, 2005.
According to the show’s announcement, some of the finest working class show trucks in the country will be on display. The event will take place at the E-Center The show will be held at the E-Center, 3200 South Decker Lake Drive, West Valley City, Utah., off I-215.
The objective of the show is to promote a positive image of the trucking industry while providing funds for children suffering from kidney disease. Every year, proceeds provide the opportunity for hundreds of dialysis and transplant patients and their families to attend an annual Kidney Kamp for Kids in beautiful Aspen Grove at Mt. Timpanogos in northern Utah.
This year’s event will host a traditional trade show displaying hundreds of new products and services including driver recruiters. Attendees will enjoy a truck-pull contest, antique truck & car show, variety show entertainment and a festive food court. New to the event this year will be a “swap meet” for individuals looking to buy or sell treasures of all kinds.
The Great Salt Lake Kidney Kamp Truck Show is a non-profit organization founded in 1989 by Jeff England, president of Pride Transport Inc., and Leonard Freeman, a professional driver whose son suffered from kidney failure.
