Great Dane LP is consolidating the two separate sales and marketing departments of its multi-products and van divisions, effective immediately.
The new sales and marketing department will be headquartered in Savannah, Ga. It will be led by Jim Pines, as executive vice president, and Chris Adkins, as senior vice president of sales and marketing. Brandie Fuller will continue to hold the position of manager of advertising and industry relations.
"Our van division and multi-products division already have been working closely together in those areas that interact with our customers," said Phill Pines, Great Dane’s chief operating officer. "By streamlining these operations, we will be able to respond quicker and more efficiently to customer needs and requests."
Great Dane Trailers is a manufacturer of dry van, refrigerated and platform trailers. The company has headquarters in Savannah, Ga., and Chicago, Ill., and nine manufacturing plants in the United States. Four of the manufacturing facilities have received ISO certification with the rest scheduled to be certified. With distribution points across North and South America, Great Dane utilizes a network of company-owned branches, full-line independent dealers, as well as parts-only independent dealers.
