The GX-1200 features a 1.2 GHz Pentium processor, runs Windows-based software and is built to withstand the vibration of heavy-duty use on forklifts.
The 12-inch GX-1200 touch screen has been available in 800 x 600 VGA resolution, but application developers have asked for higher resolution to fit more information on the screen. The new option provides XGA color at 1024 x 768 pixels with the same touch screen attributes.
According to the Glacier announcement, optional Bluetooth enables access to short range wireless peripherals, such as barcode scanners.
