The State of Georgia will hold its Third Annual Georgia Logistics Summit hosted by the Center of Innovation for Logistics on May 9th and 10th in Atlanta.
Themed as "Thriving in a Changing Ecosystem" the 2011 Summit examines logistics business opportunities and requirements across a set of six markets: Agribusiness, Air Freight, Energy, Life-sciences, Manufacturing, and Ocean Freight. This year's Summit is all about identifying, exploring and understanding ways the ecosystem is changing, specifically how to take advantage, and thrive.
In addition to the regular agenda, two special events have been added to this year's roster:
* New "Opportunity Sessions" will be market focused and contain information from industry experts on how and why to tap into these areas for true business opportunity.
* Expanded Pre-Summit Networking Event provides plenty of time to network with a rare mix of stakeholders from all across the logistics ecosystem, including potential new customers, transportation and storage providers, technology experts, local, state, and federal leadership, and more.
The Georgia Logistics Summit takes place at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, and the Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta.
Online registration begins January 18th.
