The Georgia Motor Trucking Assn. has scheduled its annual George Fleet Expo for Oct. 24 at the Georgia International Convention Center in College Park, south of Atlanta.

This is a new name for the annual trade show, but that's not the only change. Show hours will be 10 a.m.-4 p.m. to help attendees avoid the worst of Atlanta's notorious rush hours. "A Taste of Trucking" will feature members of GMTA providing lunch in a "cook-off" type atmosphere with their custom grilles and cookers. Country music star Mark Wills will hold an autograph session at the Atlanta Freightliner booth.
