GeoCom TMS, a transportation technology company with sales offices in Atlanta, has introduced TMS ZoneDesigner, a new planning module for its TMS Router transportation management system.
TMS Router is a sophisticated client/server application, designed to handle large and complex routing problems considering such detailed parameters as turn restrictions, one-ways, weight, low bridges, no-truck streets, HazMat routes and more.
TMS ZoneDesigner was created specifically for route delivery businesses that need to establish territories and accommodate fluctuating demand. TMS ZoneDesigner considers product demand, geography and routing constraints, multiple fleet domiciles and sources of re-supply to create fair and profitable distribution territories.
GeoCom’s other products include GeoNav, a tracking and communications system for small to mid-size fleets; GeoBulk, a specialized management system for bulk carriage fleets; and GeoMap digital mapping products.
GeoCom TMS carries on research and development in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada.
