The plan includes three targeted promotional programs designed to support Gates product lines, increase brand awareness and drive business growth.
The promotional plans include one for heavy-duty fleets, a partnership program for automotive and heavy-duty warehouse distributors and jobbers, and a serpentine system promotion for cars and light trucks.
“We are very excited to launch some exciting new promotional programs,” said Todd Hack, vice president automotive aftermarket at Gates Corporation. “Each program was carefully developed to appeal to our target audiences, drive growth, and support the valuable partnerships that we have built over many years of doing business in the industry.”
The heavy-duty dealer stock-up promotion is aimed at increasing awareness of the value of a complete system repair by inspecting and replacing components at the same time. It also gives fleets the opportunity to receive a stock-up incentive. The promotion runs through July 31, 2016.
The partnership program for automotive and heavy-duty warehouse distributors and jobber representatives is designed to help them develop business with Gates products and receive rewards for their commitment. The program includes up to $12,000 in cash prizes for participating representatives, including Visa prepaid cards and a home theater system drawing. The promotion through October 31, 2016.
The serpentine system promotion for cars and light trucks is aimed at higher ticket sales and increase customer satisfaction with a complete and preventative serpentine system repair. Service centers will have the opportunity to earn Visa prepaid cards for additional component installation. The promotion runs through July 31, 2016.
