Frizzell Named 41st NTEA President
Mike Frizzell has been installed as 41st president of the National Truck Equipment Assn. during the association’s 41st annual convention

The convention was held in conjunction with The Work Truck Show, March 2–4, 2005, in Indianapolis, Ind.
Frizzell is president of Royal Truck Body, River City, Calif. His career began in 1968 at an industrial rubber company. Through his sales role, he developed a relationship with a manufacturer of hydraulic equipment that led to a seven-year stint in the company’s truck equipment division. Frizzell went into business for himself in 1978, opening River City Truck Equipment in Sacramento. In 1999, Royal Truck Body purchased River City Truck Equipment.
“What I like about Mike as president of the NTEA is his tenacity,” said Carney. “He suffered many setbacks in his business and some personal misfortunes that would have defeated a lot of people. But it just made him stronger. He became more resolved with each reversal to push forward. His ability to bounce back and persevere can be a lesson to all of us.”
