Freightquote.com Expands To Mexico
By expanding its business-to-business freight and logistics solution to cover Mexico, freightquote.com now offers online business-to-business freight and logistics service throughout North America
By expanding its business-to-business freight and logistics solution to cover Mexico, freightquote.com now offers online business-to-business freight and logistics service throughout North America.
The company's customers can obtain accurate quotes online as well as all necessary customs documentation and insurance to ship goods to all major destinations in the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico, Canada and Mexico.
"In order to ship to locations outside the continental U.S., shippers would typically have to piece together multiple tariffs, ocean charges, pickup charges, and other applicable fees. We offer a single, inclusive, affordable price," explains Scott Hagenkord, Director of Carrier Operations. "These additions complete our North American agenda and get us closer to our goal... providing a one-stop resource for traffic managers."
Once the shipper enrolls, he enters details including origin, destination, weight and class. The system returns with all the options available and allows carrier selection. The site further simplifies shipping by providing automated freight documents, consolidated monthly billing, and online record keeping. "Customs documents and all of the necessary forms are available from our website to help facilitate shipments across the border," says Tim Barton, freightquote.com CEO.
