FREIGHTlist.com of Maryland Heights, Mo., will debut at the International Trucking Show in Las Vegas this week. The Internet-based service at www.freightlist.com will provide load matching plus other services to carriers and shippers.
FREIGHTlist.com intends to create a continually updated list of 50,000 real time loads and trucks during its first year of operation. According to the company, other systems allow real time postings but few are removed when booked or cancelled. FREIGHTlist.com claims its management and accounting systems will encourage members to manage listings, creating an always-current list of loads and trucks.
The site will feature mileage calculation between zip codes and updates every two minutes among other benefits and will integrate with Peachtree Complete Accounting software, a popular, generic accounting package.
FREIGHTlist.com recommends, but does not require, a high-speed Internet connection and offers a 30-day free trial for new users.
