Roger M. Nielsen, chief operating officer of Freightliner LLC, will discuss the industry’s outlook at the 16th Annual Breakfast & Briefing at 8 a.m. on Friday, March 24,
in rooms 102-105 at the Kentucky Fair & Expo Center during the Mid-America Trucking Show.
He has stepped in to this year’s keynote spot as the replacement speaker for Chris Patterson of Freightliner, who had to withdraw due to an unavoidable conflict.
Nielsen is a popular Breakfast & Briefing speaker, first sharing his insights at the 2003 event. He will draw on his 20 years of experience at Freightliner for his address. Since assuming his role as COO in May 2001, Nielsen has guided the core functions of Freightliner LLC. He is responsible for the company’s entire North American truck manufacturing network, as well as all levels of operations in manufacturing engineering, information technology, purchasing, logistics, customer application engineering and truck order administration.
Breakfast & Briefing attendees can jump start their day at MATS with free coffee and networking in the breakfast buffet line – with coffee courtesy of event sponsor MacKay & Co. Sponsors also include ARCG, Newport Communications, Babcox Publications/Fleet Owner magazine, CCJ -Randall-Reilly Publishing, J.D. Power & Associates, Power Systems Research and R.L. Polk.
Tables of 10 at the annual HDMA event will feature corporate logos and can be reserved for $650. Those with reserved tables will receive priority seating and be allowed early entry into the event. Individual tickets can be purchased for $39.95. Sponsorship opportunities also are still available.
