Software provider SDA FreightDATA Corp., Newport Beach, Calif., has added web tracking capabilities to its FreightDATA Transportation Software.

The new web capability allows customers on the Internet to check shipment status, access activity reports for the last month, pinpoint delivery dates and times, find out who signed for shipments and print documents, including bills of lading and proofs of delivery.
FreightDATA Transportation Software includes electronic dispatch, rating, billing and accounts receivable for a variety of trucking requirements, including LTL, truckload, drayage, ocean and air freight forwarding, and air cartage. Freight bills are accessible in the system by a variety of search criteria, with daily activity and revenue reports posted automatically to the general ledger, accounts receivable and statistical files.
