Flying J Inc., an Ogden, Utah-based corporation is announcing the opening of two new Travel Plazas located in Dodge City, Kansas and Dothan, Ala. The Travel Plaza in Dodge City, Kansas, is located
at Highway 400 and Highway 283 at 2524 East Wyatt Earp Blvd. Formerly know as the Hitching Post, this new Travel Plaza offers five diesel lanes and six gas/RV lanes. Flying J Inc., has paved 32 parking spaces with another 30 spaces unpaved. Drivers will be able to freshen up using the plaza's four private showers and relax in the drivers' lounge or watch movies in the theater room. The Country Market Restaurant and Buffet will also seat 118 guests to great meals served 24 hours a day.
The Dothan, Ala., location is on an 18-acre parcel at 2190 Ross Clark Circle, off Highway 231. It offers 120 truck parking spaces, 70 diesel and 12 gas/RV pumps. Drivers are able to freshen up with the plaza's nine showers and get their needs and wants satisfied with a variety of items in the store. The Country Market seats 108 guests for its popular buffets offering a wide selection of food. Two quick-serve food operations will also be available to guests: Pepperoni's Pizza (by-the-slice or whole-to-go) and Magic Dragon offering excellent Chinese selections. The plaza will also offer drivers a Financial Service Center.
