FleetPride has unveiled a new regional distribution center in Visalia, Calif., to service the transportation market in the western U.S.
The 110,000-square-foot center houses more than 30,000 SKUs, reflecting the demand in this region. The center will also provide axle assembly, kitting and light packaging.
"FleetPride chose this location because it is centrally located in California, allowing for one day transit anywhere within the state," said Robert Lindley, vice president of supply chain. "From Visalia, we can also deliver to any of our 43 western region company owned branches in two days or less."
Visalia is FleetPride's third distribution center in the U.S. It's part of the company's plan to streamline FleetPride's national heavy-duty truck and trailer parts logistics network.
At the Visalia distribution center, which is located at 7107 West Sunnyview Avenue, Brian Chupp will serve as Western Region Distribution Manager, managing a team of 15 employees.
