Starting July 1, drivers who use Fleet One's Over the Road card can purchase fuel and maintenance at more than 2,500 "Plus Network" locations with no fuel transaction fees.
"Given the high volume of purchases by long-haul truckers, this benefit will translate into considerable savings for fleets that use Over The Road cards," said Fleet One President and CEO Andy Roberts. "A trucking fleet saving a dollar or more every time one of its drivers uses his or her card improves the business cash flow significantly and also allows our merchant partners the opportunity to provide additional products and services to these important customers."
To date, the "Plus Network" extends to well over 2,500 quality truck stops and travel centers. This includes independents as well as chain operators like Fast Lane, Fuel City, Gas City, Go Marts, Knox Fuel, Kwik Trip, MAPCO Express, Pilot, SAPP Bros., Speedway SuperAmerica, Steel City, Sun Mart, TravelCenters of America, Tomahawk, Total Petroleum, Town Pump, and Williams TravelCenters.
The Fleet One Over The Road program offers numerous services, including enhanced purchasing power for fuel and maintenance, private label programs, data capture, permit services, accounts receivable financing and web hosting & design. The cards also provide ATM service for authorized cardholders, payroll services, insurance coverage, and more.
Fleet One recently combined with the TransPlatinum Plus product line under the Fleet One name. The Nashville, Tenn.-based company provides electronic payment authorization and billing, financial settlement, credit card processing and a host of other services for fleets consisting of all sizes and classes of vehicles.
Fleet One is a subsidiary of National Commerce Financial Corporation.
