Continued growth for lease management service First Fleet Corp., Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., has prompted a relocation to a larger facility.
Last month, the company relocated to 350 East Las Olas Blvd., where it now occupies about 10,000 square feet of office space, a 40 percent increase over its former location.
First Fleet reports it has 85 active customers, up 25 percent in the past two years, and is projecting an additional 30 percent increase in volume and profits for its current fiscal year, now in its second quarter.
“While there’s little doubt that an economic slowdown is taking place, in many cases this has made leasing a more viable alternative,” says Chairman and CEO John Flynn. “The unique lease management services offered by First Fleet are now even more valuable to a growing number of customers.”
First Fleet provides customers with asset management, financial and operational support, including purchasing packages, customized loans and leases, technological and operational databases, warranty claim processing, extended repair coverage programs, maintenance and repair analyses and other administrative services.
First Fleet uses a proprietary software tool called Fleet Optimizer to evaluate a prospective client’s operations, equipment, maintenance and financial needs. A web-based version is in the final stages of testing.
