Honeywell Federal Manufacturing Technologies has awarded Featherlite Inc. the 2002 Supplier Excellence Award for superior performance and product manufacturing.
Honeywell Federal Manufacturing Technologies has awarded Featherlite Inc. the 2002 Supplier Excellence Award for superior performance and product manufacturing.
Honeywell FM contracted with Featherlite to build three 53-foot logistic support trailers to be used by the Department of Energy.
"All supplier excellence award nominations are evaluated based on delivery performance, quality performance, technical support, order administration, cost control and responsiveness," said Veva Lucero, senior buyer for Honeywell FM.
Lucero praised Featherlite for its design, fabrication and delivery of the three trailers in addition to the excellent communication Featherlite Specialty Sales provided throughout the process.
Celebrating its 30th year in the trailer industry this year, Featherlite has designed and manufactured custom trailers for emergency response, law enforcement and fire department units, as well as other governmental agencies across the United States.
Featherlite has built mobile hazardous materials response vehicles, disease control centers, command and communication centers, training and office trailers and mobile fire stations for local and state agencies, as well as mobile recruiting trailers for the United States Air Force.
