The Mid-America Trucking Show’s first-ever expedited industry seminar will be held beginning at noon March 26, presented by ExpressTrucking.com.

Linda Yates, author of the book, "Business, Educational Successful Techniques of Express Trucking," will be the speaker for the free seminar. People interested in a career as an Emergency Freight Transporter (EFT) are invited to attend this seminar.
Called "Preparing for a Career in Expedited Trucking," the seminar will focus on understanding the nature of the business and important things to consider before entering a career as an EFT (also called expediter).
Yates, who is president of UFS Insight Inc., will provide practical information that will help develop effective business strategies for a career in expediting. Seminar attendees will receive a complimentary EFT Info-Pac, which includes a special offer from Speedco Truck Lube, a regulations guide customized by ExpressTrucking.com and published be Regulations Management Corp. and information on several companies that provide vital products and services to help start a business.
"For the past four years, ExpressTrucking.com has been instrumental in bringing recognition and acceptance of expedited trucking as a defined segment of the transportation industry," Yates said. "We have helped educate many individuals about the business before they make any financial commitments, as well as helped industry suppliers develop products and services to meet the demands of the expedite application. Our mission continues to be to help connect companies, contractors and suppliers," said Yates.
Although the MATS seminar is free, visitors should register to ensure there will be adequate quantities of handout materials. Individuals pre-registering will be issued a pass with a voucher for an EFT Info-Pac. All pre-registered seminar attendees will also receive a VIP pass to ExpressTrucking.com's hospitality room, open to guests with a VIP pass.
Immediately following the seminar, ExpressTrucking.com will host a VIP hospitality room from 1 to 3 p.m. to provide a relaxed environment, with complimentary coffee and pastries, for invited guests to talk with several industry suppliers and expedite carriers. Yates will also be available to sign books and meet with seminar attendees.
ExpressTrucking.com is owned and managed by UFS Insight Inc. The ExpressTrucking.com Portal encompasses a network of more than 10 Internet domains targeting the expedite niche.
