enVista, LLC was formally launched recently to help transportation companies manage their logistics and transportation costs.
enVista offers a broad array of tailored management solutions to help companies reduce operating costs, improve customer service and enhance profitability.
Led by the executive team of Jim Barnes, president and CEO, and John Stitz, vice president, enVista offers 30 years of combined experience with logistics and transportation management software, selections and implementations.
The new company will offer two transportation cost management solutions, ShipINFO and RateINFO. ShipINFO helps companies close the gap between shipping and delivery, proactively manages company's freight and carrier providers' service and performance. By having access to all shipping information in one central location, customers can monitor their shipments minute by minute. They will know before their customer, if a shipment will be late, and have time to respond proactively. In addition, they will know how much of a refund they should receive from a carrier for service failures.
RateINFO is a transportation cost management service that helps companies reduce their parcel and LTL shipping costs. By analyzing a company's shipment profile, carrier incentives and tariffs, enVista identifies specific ways to pare down shipping expenses.
The company also provides a series of logistics cost management services including supply chain network design and analysis; material flow analysis and process improvement; software evaluation and selection; site selection and evaluation; resource optimization and organization design; transportation analysis; and key performance metrics deployment.
