Energy & Engine Technology Corp., (EENT will be an exhibitor at this year's Mid America Truck Show in Louisville, Ky., at Booth 9055.

The company will be showcasing its AXP 1000 product and its new split-unit air conditioning and heating system, with three distinct location options for the fan/blower unit inside the cab.
The need for auxiliary power units has never been greater. A truck fleet with 100 trucks could potentially save more than $2.6 million over a three-year period by utilizing auxiliary power units, such as EENT's AXP 1000. To add to the story is the fact that oil is selling at a record high, with diesel hovering around $2.45 a gallon on the West Coast
If one looks at the federal statistics of drivers driving 330 days per year on average, with 10 hours per day resting, using 1.5 gallons per hour, at $2.45 a gallon, that is over $12,000 per year consumed in diesel idling costs. EENT's device uses .12 gallons per hour when running, so using the same numbers, this is $970 per year, or a savings of more than $11,000 per year. EENT's device costs $6,500 (retail) with approximately $500 - $750 for installation.
EENT, headquartered in Plano, Texas, develops and markets power generation products for the long haul trucking industry and for marine, military and stand alone applications through its BMZ Generators Technology subsidiary.
