Online education and information services provider efleetmgmt inc. will present two seminars in October designed to help transportation businesses improve their financial and operating performance.
The seminars will run on consecutive days in Orlando, Fla., for the convenience of trucking professionals. A "Financial Strategies for Today’s Fleet Operations" seminar will be presented Oct. 15-16. The seminar was switched from Sept. 10-12.
The "Transportation Best Practices" seminar will follow on Oct. 17. It was moved from Raleigh-Durham, N.C. Both seminars will be held at the Homewood Suites in Orlando.
Presenters at the Financial Strategies seminar will be Joe B. Hanna, associate professor of logistics at Auburn University; and R. Patrick White, former traffic and transportation manager of Coca-Cola USA and a principal at WhiteTrans Solutions Inc.
They will lead workshops on a variety of workshops covering the role of finance in successful fleet operations.
Tony Vercillo, president and CEO of International Fleet Management Consultants, will speak at the Best Practices seminar. He will lead discussion of ways to enhance fleet management.
