Web-based logistics company eflatbed.com, was ranked as the largest business-to-business (B2B) Internet company in the Pittsburgh area
, according to a recently published Pittsburgh Business Times listing. The company, focused exclusively on flatbed transportation, is located in Pittsburgh suburb Rochester, Pa.
B2B companies in the Times listing were ranked by the number of online transactions completed in 2000. eflatbed.com completed 7,550 transactions that totaled more than $7 million in revenue. According to eflatbed.com, they surpassed those numbers in first few months of 2001.
"This is an enormous achievement for eflatbed.com, especially at a time when many online companies are struggling. eflatbed.com has continually grown to reach a significant amount of liquidity, and this continual growth demonstrates the value we are bringing to shippers and carriers in the metals, lumber, and building materials industries," said Gregg A. Troian, President and CEO of Quadrivius, Inc., eflatbed.com's parent company.
