Edmonton Kenworth was named 2006 Kenworth Dealer of the Year for the United States and Canada at the annual Kenworth Dealer Meeting held recently in Tucson, Ariz.
"It's certainly a tremendous honor and privilege for our dealership to be selected as the 2006 Kenworth Dealer of the Year," said Gary M. King, president of Edmonton Kenworth.
Edmonton Kenworth was chosen as Kenworth Dealer of the Year from among Kenworth's six Gold Award winners for 2006. Other Gold Award winners are Inland Kenworth - U.S. (California, Arizona and New Mexico), Kenworth of South Texas (Pharr, Texas), MHC Kenworth (Kansas City), MHC Kenworth (Oklahoma) and Motor Power Kenworth (Great Falls, Mont.).
"It's no surprise that Edmonton Kenworth once again achieved a remarkable standard of dealer excellence in 2006," said Bob Christensen, Kenworth general manager and Paccar vice president. "Edmonton Kenworth willingly invests in their business to better serve customers, sells Kenworth's entire product line from medium-duty to heavy-duty trucks, and has employees that remain extremely motivated and passionate about achieving customer satisfaction."
Edmonton Kenworth services Edmonton and northern Alberta operating first-class facilities and provides the World's Best in Kenworth truck sales, parts, service, paint, body shop and full-service leasing to the oilfield, logging and highway markets. The dealer operates three full-service locations, including two in Edmonton.
This past year, Edmonton Kenworth relocated its dealership in Lloydminster, Alb., to a new, 19-bay, 37,000-square-foot facility that features the same outstanding amenities and architectural styling as its Edmonton flagship facility.
