East Coast Brake Rebuilders in Virginia Beach, Va., has added a new paint system for brake shoes it says is one of the first in the industry.
The new BMS Paint System provides extensive cleaning, completely eliminating the risk of rust jacking or flash rusting, according to the company.
By completely eliminating the chlorides and rust, the company says, customers get 100% full value out of brake shoes, in addition to increasing the shelf life.
The new system is an automated dip coating system that coats the shoes shoes in twice the thickness after all soluble salts are removed, which the company says will give customers approximately three years of corrosion-free life.
