Today is the last day to take advantage of Early Bird registration discounts for the American Trucking Assns. (ATA) Management Conference & Exhibition, scheduled for Oct. 27-30 in Orlando, Fla.

Register online today and take advantage of significant discounts. In addition, those among the first 400 to register online will receive a complimentary signed copy of the former First Lady's autobiography Barbara Bush: A Memoir or Chris Matthews' Now, Let Me Tell You What I Really Think.
In order to attend the ATA conference activities, visitors must be registered. Registrations include all business sessions, educational programs, the exhibit, hospitality functions, a breakfast, two luncheons, and the ATA annual reception and banquet. To qualify for these important savings, complete your online registration form with payment no later than today.

(Mail-in registrations were only to be accepted until today. After today, visitors must call ATA at (703) 838-1755 for instructions regarding on-site registration procedures).
The ATA Management Conference & Exhibition kicks off a yearlong celebration commemorating its own 70th birthday and the 100th anniversary of the trucking industry. The conference will be held at the Orlando World Center Marriott Resort & Convention Center.
ATA President and CEO William Canary has dedicated this year's event to all those who have made significant contributions over the last 70 years, including the ATA Federation. "We want to acknowledge the contributions of ATA's past and present leaders and the thousands of members who have supported ATA's mission over the years," he said. The other milestone to be celebrated in Orlando will track the truck industry's rise out of the shadow of previous modes of freight movement -- river, rail and animal power -- to become the largest freight carrier in the U.S.
"Trucking has worked hard to earn its reputation as the mode of transportation that keeps America rolling," Canary said. "We're going to celebrate our first 100 years with a pledge to work together to guarantee another century of trucking success."
