Dot Transportation, the transportation arm of the nation's leading food redistributor, has signed a contract to use Expert Fuel sofware from Integrated Decision Support Corp. of Richardson, Texas.

Expert Fuel is integrated directly into the TMW Power Suite dispatch software, using current fuel price information to lower fuel costs by providing an efficient fuel purchase plan to the driver at the time of dispatch.
Dot Transportation, a subsidiary of Dot Foods, is headquartered in Mt. Sterling, Ill. It distributes food products to 2000 foodservice distributors nationwide.
"Expert Fuel's use of real-time fuel price information matched with our fuel supplier partners will take advantage of where to buy the lowest cost fuel on each dispatch" said John Ourth, regional transportation manager for Dot Transportation.
Since 1990, Integrated Decision Support Corp. has been exclusively focused on providing optimization technology to full truckload carriers.
