The Tire Retread Information Bureau (TRIB) is offering free copies of its “Don’t Thump ’em, Pump ’em” poster. The poster promotes the use of tire gauges as a way to keep truck tires properly maintained.

The poster is printed in full color on heavy paper and is suitable for framing.
“We originally offered this poster a number of years ago and have had so many requests for copies since than that we decided to offer it again to truckers who are interested in doing the right thing for their tires. And the right thing is to use a properly calibrated tire gauge on a regular basis instead of a tire thumper,” said Harvey Brodsky, managing director of TRIB. “Any trucker who thinks he can tell how much air is in a tire by thumping it might as well thump the hood of his cab to determine if his engine needs oil,” Brodsky added.
A free copy of the TRIB poster can be ordered by calling (888) 473-8732 toll free from anywhere in North America, or by sending an email to: info@retread.org.
