Wright Express cards are now accepted at Valero's Diamond Shamrock, Ultramar, Beacon and Total fueling and convenience store locations.

The agreement makes Valero's Diamond Shamrock stores and its affiliated brands the latest retail sites to accept the Wright Express Universal Fleet Card and numerous Wright Express co-branded cards, significantly expanding the coverage of Wright Express.
The company is a leading provider of fleet fuel cards and fleet management services in the Southwest and Texas, a region of particular market strength for Valero's Diamond Shamrock brand.
"This is a great new alliance for Wright Express," said Michael Dubyak, president of Wright Express. "We are excited that we can expand our coverage of the American Southwest so dramatically through this deal. The agreement will make Wright Express even more attractive to those companies that operate in the area or have a significant presence in that region."
The Diamond Shamrock, Texas-based Valero Energy Corp., a Fortune 500 company with about 22,000 employees and revenues of nearly $30 billion, owns Ultramar, Total and Beacon brands. It is one of the nation's leading independent refiners and retail marketers.
South Portland-based Wright Express is the leading provider of fleet charge cards to the fleet maintenance and fueling industry with its cards accepted at more than 160,000 locations. Wright Express also provides information management, payment processing and financial services to fleets through card partnerships with oil companies and fleet management companies.
Through its own universal fleet card program, its partners' card programs and its MasterCard program, Wright Express has nearly four million commercial cards in its markets.
Wright Express LLC, a subsidiary of Cendant Corp., employs more than 640 people at its headquarters in South Portland, Maine and its subsidiary in Salt Lake City, Utah.
