Denso Products and Services Americas has named Yijun “Henry” Peng manager of its remanufacturing operations in Murrieta and Long Beach, Calif., the company announced.

Denso Products and Services Americas has named Yijun “Henry” Peng manager of its remanufacturing operations in Murrieta and Long Beach, Calif.

In his new role, Peng will oversee all aspects of Denso’s existing remanufacturing business as well as its major expansion initiatives to meet market demand for reman products in North America.
Denso’s Murrieta plant specializes in the remanufacturing of starters, alternators and diesel products. The facility has also recently added a supply pump product line and expanded its fuel injector performance bench test capabilities.
Peng was chosen for his experience in all parts of remanufacturing, including finance, operations and technology.
“I am honored to join Denso at this exciting juncture,” said Peng. “I look forward to leading our teams to grow DENSO’s aftermarket presence by expanding the supply and selection of superior reman products to customers throughout North America.”
Peng has 15 years of experience in the automotive and financial industries. He previously worked for Cummins, where he started as a strategic sourcing manager responsible for procurement, contracts, supplier readiness, compliance and process improvement. Most recently, he served as operations leader for advancing Cummins’ next generation of high-efficiency remanufacturing operations in the Americas.
Before joining Cummins, Peng was a senior consultant at the financial service firms PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Deloitte. At Deloitte, he performed audit and financial due diligence services for automotive and aviation customers.
He holds a Master of Business Administration from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, Bloomington, where he specialized in supply chain management and finance. Peng earned his Bachelor of Accounting from the Nanjing University School of Business in China.
