Delphi Automotive Systems will supply steering wheels and modular doors for the new International medium duty trucks. The new products will be made at the Delphi Interior Systems factory in Vandalia, GA.
Delphi has been concentrating on winning business from companies other than former parent, General Motors, and says the non-GM business is coming at a faster pace than many expected.
With this latest contract it does more than $35 million a year with International Truck and Engine. Delphi will also supply seat belts and instrument panels for the new medium duty line.
The company said it has contracts with other medium and heavy duty truck manufacturers.
