Decker Truck Line Inc. is offering a limited-time sign-on bonus for reefer/van drivers.
From now through Aug. 31, 2006, experienced reefer and van drivers can earn up to $4,000 in sign-on bonuses.
Special credit will be given to drivers with more than three years of verifiable OTR experience. These drivers will start out with a $2,000 sign-on bonus, and can earn up to $1,000 for additional verifiable experience.
These same drivers can earn an additional $1,000 based upon their longevity with their previous employer. This makes for a possible total of $4,000 in sign-on bonus money.
Not only will these drivers get the benefit of this limited time sign-on bonus, but with the 3 cent per mile pay increase previously announced, they can be well on their way to earning up to $70,000 per year. As the company celebrates its 75th anniversary this year, Decker acknowledges that its drivers have always played an important role in the success of the company.
