Decisiv, which provides web-based technology designed to connect fleet managers with internal and external service locations, said dealer service locations using the Decisiv Service Management Platform (DSMP) have surpassed $500 million in transactions on an annualized basis.
"The result is a rapidly growing volume of service business," said Dick Hyatt, president of Decisiv. "The real value for service locations actually far exceeds $500 million annually when warranty and no charge operations are included."
DSMP was developed in close partnership with many of North America's top truck and component manufacturers and service networks. It is currently in use by hundreds of fleets and service providers under the brand names Diamond Estimating System and ServicePartner at International dealerships, MVASIST at Volvo Trucks North America and Mack Trucks dealers, DSMP at Freightliner and Detroit Diesel Allison (DDA) service locations, QuoteIt at W.W. Williams service locations and Prevost.ASIST at Prevost repair facilities.
In the most recent version of its DSMP, Decisiv has enhanced service event management functions, including features that allow a service event to be tagged with a follow up time and date. Shop efficiency can be tracked by capturing estimated and actual times of repair. Notes added to an operation can now be viewed easily.
There are also new productivity tools for service personnel that let them quickly view the most recent notes from a customer, and search for estimates by vehicle, customer, date or repair order number. Service locations can now view and add fleet recommended operations to an estimate and attach documents and pictures to an e-mailed estimate. The status of each line item on an estimate can be set, and any service event can be linked to another estimate.
