Minnesota-based Dart Transit Co. has named Post Witt of the Dallas Operating Center and Walt Bray of the Eagan Operating Center as Contractors of the Month for June, recognized for their on-time performance, dependability and safety record.
This is the second time Post Witt from Stillwater, Okla., has been named Dart Contractor of the Month. He also received the award in November 2003. He owns and operates a 2003 Freightliner with a Dart “National” contract.
Walt Bray from Pickard, Ind., has contracted with Dart since 1989. Bray owns and operates a 1995 International in Dart’s Northern Region. In 2004, he received the National Safety Council’s Two Million Mile Award for driving more than two million accident-free miles.
Dart Contractors of the Month receive certificates and gifts from Dart’s “Pro Shop.” Dart Contractors of the Year are selected from its Contractors of the Month.
Dart Transit is the nation’s 14th largest truckload dry-van carrier, offering 48-state, dedicated, and regional service with 2,500 independent owner-operators.
