Truckers crossing New Mexico on I-40 have a new stopping option: the Dancing Eagle Travel Center at exit 108 at Casa Blanca

An artist's rendering of the new Dancing Eagle travel center in New Mexico.
Located approximately 50 miles west of Albuquerque, the travel center is owned by the Pueblo of Laguna. Conoco fuel is dispensed at canopied, pay-at-the-pump facilities. There are 100 paved and 50 gravel parking spaces available for tractor-trailers. In addition to a sit-down restaurant, Dancing Eagle offers a Taco Bell, Hot Stuff Pizza, Smash Hit Subs, Cinnamon Street Bakery and Cappuccino Coffee Bar. Showers, laundry, video games, 60-inch TV for showing movies, rental computers, pay phones and convenience store are available for truckers' convenience at the 8,000-square-foot facility.
A golf-cart shuttle will take visitors to the nearby Dancing Eagle casino or supermarket.
Dancing Eagle opened last week. A grand opening will be held May 3-5; visitors stopping at the travel center will each receive a complimentary keychain while supplies last.
