Peterbilt Motors Co. and Kenworth Truck Co., both subsidiaries of Paccar Inc., now offer Dana Spicer LMS Hub Systems as standard equipment on both drive and steer axles for their Class 8 commercial vehicles in North America.

"We are very excited by this opportunity to expand upon our standard offering at Peterbilt and Kenworth," said Joe Magliochetti, Dana chairman and CEO. "Dana has long been a proud partner with both Peterbilt and Kenworth in the North American commercial-vehicle market, and we appreciate their continued support of our axle, brake, driveshaft and wheel-end technologies."
Dana Spicer LMS Hub systems were previously standard on steer axles for Peterbilt and Kenworth trucks, and now the product is standard on drive axles, as well. Spicer LMS Hub systems will be assembled for Peterbilt's facilities in Denton, Texas; Madison, Tenn.; and Ste. Therese, Quebec; and Kenworth's facilities in Renton, Wash.; Chillicothe, Ohio; and Ste. Therese, Quebec.
Dana's Commercial Vehicle Systems unit designs, manufactures, and markets front-steer, rear-drive, trailer, and auxiliary axles; driveshafts; steering shafts; brakes; suspensions; and related systems, modules, and services for the commercial vehicle market. Major components and modules are marketed under the Spicer brand name. Dana's strategic marketing alliance with Eaton Corp.'s Truck Components group provides innovative drivetrain systems under the Roadranger brand name.
The company reported 2002 sales of $9.5 billion.
