Dana Corp.has opened a state-of-the-art technology center for heavy truck systems research and development.
The center, located in Kalamazoo, MI, is the worldwide office and research and development facility for Dana's Spicer Heavy Axle and Brake Div. The 154,000 square-foot facility includes more than 75,000 square feet dedicated to research and development testing.
"Dana is committed to the development of those new technologies and products that go beyond today's demands, and create future value for our customers and our shareholders," said Dana chairman and CEO Joe Magliochetti. "This new technology center enables us to collaborate more effectively and leverage the knowledge, skills and abilities of the most innovative thought leaders in the heavy truck sector."
