Dana Corp., Toledo, Ohio, is integrating its Spicer Heavy Systems Assembly Division into its Ride and Control Systems Division, headquartered at the Commercial Vehicle Technology Center in Kalamazoo, Mich.
"Our mission is to transform today's components and services into tomorrow's innovative system solutions that provide more value for our customers on a global basis," said Rick Clayton, president of Dana Commercial Vehicle Systems. "Ride and Control Systems Division is the group that will develop these systems and modules to meet the market needs of the future."
The Spicer Heavy Systems assembly Division's office in Wyomissing, Pa., will be closed, and its assembly plants in Lancaster, Pa., and Lugoff, S.C., will report to Greg DiMarco, general manager of the Ride and Control Systems Division.
Vicky Black, formerly general manager for the Spicer Heavy Systems Assembly Division, has been named general manager of Dana's Commercial Vehicle Service Parts Division.
Black will be responsible for developing and executing global service parts business growth strategies for the division. She will play a key role in developing the new processes necessary to improve all aspects of Commercial Vehicle Systems service parts business. Black will interact with all of Commercial Vehicle Systems global customers and with partner Eaton through the Roadranger Parts Marketing organization.
In this new assignment, Black will continue to report directly to Rick Clayton, president, Dana Commercial Vehicle Systems.
Black succeeds Len Newblom, former vice president and general manager, Commercial Vehicle Service Parts Division. Newblom retired Oct.1 after more than 32 years of service with Dana.
