Dana Holding Acquires Magnum Gaskets
Dana Holding Corporation has competed its acquisition of Magnum Gaskets, a U.S.-based supplier of aftermarket gaskets and sealing products for commercial-vehicle and automotive applications.

The acquisition will enhance Dana’s sealing product offerings and complement the company’s Victor Reinz and Glaser global sealing brands, according to Dana.
"This strategic action will enable Dana to increase customer satisfaction, while accelerating our aftermarket growth by expanding our portfolio of products and the geographical regions in which we operate," said James Kamsickas, Dana president and CEO.
The Magnum Heavy Duty Gasket line consists of valve cover gaskets, oil pan gaskets, front cover gaskets and specialty kits for over-the-road Class 3-8 diesel engines from 1991 – 2012. Gaskets for Class 4-8 engines are the centerpiece of the product offering, according to Dana.
Magnum also offers single bank valve cover specialty kits for Ford Powerstroke, Dodge Ram and GM Duramax pickup truck diesel engines. The specialty kits target the fuel injection service market.
"The aftermarket sealing business is a priority for Dana, and we are proud to add Magnum Gaskets to our portfolio of well-respected aftermarket brands, expanding Dana's market position as a world leader in gasket and sealing technologies," said Doug Wolma, vice president and general manager of the Dana Aftermarket.
