Dana Corp.'s Commercial Vehicle Systems Division has earned ISO 14001 Environmental Certification for all of its U.S. and Mexico locations.

These certifications recognize the division's commitment to the environment through compliance with environmental regulations and implementation of process control programs.
"We are proud to have been recognized for our efforts in achieving environmental excellence," said Greg DiMarco, vice president and general manager of the Commercial Vehicle Systems Division. "This is further evidence of the commitment our people have to quality for Dana, our customers, and our communities."
ISO 14001 is an environmental management system developed by the International Organization for Standardization, providing an accepted structure for managing environmental impacts and continually improving processes. The program covers a range of environmental disciplines, including awareness and training programs, management reviews, recycling programs, life-cycle assessment, employee communication campaigns, and environmental aspects in product standards.
Dana's Commercial Vehicle Systems Division designs, manufactures and markets front-steer, rear-drive, trailer and auxiliary axles; driveshafts; steering shafts; brakes; suspensions; and related systems, modules, and services for the commercial vehicle market.
Major components and modules are marketed under the Spicer brand name. Dana's strategic alliance with Eaton Corp.'s Truck Components group provides innovative drivetrain systems under the Roadranger brand name.
Dana Corporation is one of the world's largest suppliers of components, modules and complete systems to global vehicle manufacturers and their related aftermarkets. Founded in 1904, and based in Toledo, Ohio, the company employs more than 60,000 people around the world. The company reported sales of $10.3 billion in 2001.
