Remy, manufacturer of Delco Remy heavy-duty starters and alternators, has been honored with the Masters of Quality Award from Daimler Trucks North America
, its fourth time receiving the award. The award recognizes Daimler's elite suppliers.

"Everyone's efforts within your company toward meeting our rigid requirements and expectations are greatly appreciated by everyone at Daimler Trucks North America," said Paul Romanggi, general manager of quality and supplier management at Daimler Trucks North America.

Daimler has been honoring its suppliers for over 20 years for meeting or exceeding its standards and exhibiting a commitment to improvement to the quality of products and processes.

"This requires the dedicated efforts of many people throughout the organization to earn this type of award," said Mike Morrison, senior vice president of global operations at Remy.

Remy's manufacturing facility, which is located in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, supplies Delco Remy heavy duty alternators and starters to Daimler Trucks North America. It also provides the Freightliner and Thomas Built dealership network with new and reman alternators, starters and service parts.
