The Commercial Vehicle Solutions Network will hold its annual 18-wheel Pinewood Challenge in Las Vegas in conjunction with Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week '10.
It is open to all HDAW '10 attendee companies.
Prizes, donated by NASCAR, will be awarded for first, second and third place winners in both the Pinewood Race and Concours D'elegance. Other sponsors of the CVSN Pinewood Challenge include Gates, Bendix CVS, 4 Seasons, Truck Pride and Federal Mogul.
"I'm sure the event will produce some high level competition, excellent networking and even a few laughs," said Dave Bell, HDAW'10 co-chairman. "These are 18 wheel 'man-toys' and past participants have had their local machine shop or tool-maker tune their axles and their shop guys painting their entries."
The Pinewood Challenge will be part of an all-industry reception at HDAW on Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2010, 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Mirage Event Center.
