Cummins to Power Autocar Xpeditor Line as Exclusive Supplier

Autocar LLC of Hagerstown, Ind., in conjunction with Cummins Inc. of Columbus, Ind., announced an agreement whereby Autocar will be exclusively powered by Cummins ISL and ISM engines in its low-cab-over-engine Xpeditor truck line.
"Cummins' support and assistance during our business start-up and their continued support in the growth of Autocar has been unprecedented in this industry. Autocar believes in Cummins current product line and in their technology going forward into 2007 and beyond. We are confident in the abilities of our two companies to succeed in the Xpeditor truck line," said James Johnston, president of Autocar Truck.
Cummins brings an extensive parts and service network to the Autocar customer with more than 3,500 certified service locations for heavy and medium duty trucks across North America.
